Each month, we either have a charitable focus wherein members bring to that month's meeting items targeted to a specific cause or charity, or we participate in a hands-on volunteer activity at a local organization.
ECHO GLEN CHILDREN'S CENTER: BROWNIE MIX
Bring brownie mix to the November 7 club meeting. We will be providing 30 (or more) brownie mixes for the Echo Glen kids. Making brownies is something the kids can do themselves, and it's something they really enjoy!
ECHO GLEN CHILDREN'S CENTER: HOLIDAY GIFT BAGS
This charitable focus is aimed at providing 25 holiday gift bags filled with goodies for the Echo Glen girls. Use the following link to see the full list of the specific items needed. Then in the Google spreadsheet, sign up to donate any items that appeal to you: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vJOI8oV5uG4LOy5tevw10hhE67uA_mx4Yimp1dfLzzQ/edit. Type your name and the number of items you wish to purchase for donation, then close the document. You may check back in to the link at any time. Please also save your leftover Halloween candy, which can be added to the gift bags. Note: Since there is no business meeting in December, please bring your holiday bag items to the November 7 meeting.
ISSAQUAH FOOD BANK: LUNCH FOR THE BREAK
Volunteers are needed to help assemble 50 lunch boxes for the second winter break. You can sign up to volunteer at the November 7 meeting or by contacting the co-leads of this activity, Sharon Miller or Lynda Wimbush, through the Issaquah Women's Club at email@example.com or see your IWC membership handbook to contact Sharon or Lynda directly.
