Service Opportunities

Each month, we either have a charitable focus wherein members bring to that month's meeting items targeted to a specific cause or charity, or we participate in a hands-on volunteer activity at a local organization.

A Hands-On Volunteering Opportunity

Eastside Friends of Seniors is holding their annual luncheon on Friday, October 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Eastridge Church on Issaquah-Fall City Road. Six IWC volunteers are needed to help with setup and cleanup at the event. And your reward? Not only will you feel good about helping at such a worthwhile community event, you'll also be treated to a delicious lunch!

For more information and details, contact the chair of the Volunteer Services Committee, Pansy Baker, through the Issaquah Women's Club at or see your IWC membership handbook to contact Pansy directly.
