Each month, either we have a charitable focus wherein members bring to that month's meeting items targeted to a specific cause or charity, or we participate in a hands-on volunteer activity at a local organization.
ISSAQUAH FOOD BANK: TOILETRY BAGS FOR 20
We are still collecting toiletry items for the Issaquah Food Bank. Since sthere will not be a business meeting in April, please bring your itemsto the May 7 meeting. Here is a list of the items that have already been donated:
The goal is to collect 20 of each of the items, so we do not need more soap or toothbrushes.

New Hands-On Community Service Project
NOTE THAT THE SENIOR CENTER IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO THE COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS, SO THIS PROJECT IS ON HOLD FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE SITUATION AND PROVIDE UPDATES AS APPROPRIATE.
DECORATING THE ISSAQUAH SENIOR CENTER
The Issaquah Senior Center is in need of a small team of volunteers to routinely decorate their facility for the seniors. The two women who have been doing this have recently retired after 10 years of dutifully decorating for seasons and holidays throughout the year. The Senior Center has ALL the tablecloths, table centerpieces, and decorations needed, and these items are conveniently stored at the center. This activity would take place approximately once a month. Your commitment to the project would NOT need to be every month, because we have enough interested volunteers to take turns.
If you would like to be involved in this fun project, please let Sandy Cobel know.
